We are 100% Australian, 100% Independent and 100% Neutral on the advice we give.
There are 2 options in attached spreadsheet:
Radio - Option ONE: Radio as above
ATN - Option TWO: ATN (Australian Traffic Network) as this is also a powerful way to impact maximum listeners “very quickly”
across “All radio stations” simultaneously in Sydney, so you get 10 second ads on all 10 radio stations.
Impact over 2,500,000 listeners or over 50% of the total population of Sydney in one week.
So an example would be:
“ ....The latest traffic report, presented by (Your company name), with (insert special offer here)
and check us out on (Phone or Web here) …” – You can have 22 words
Radio Advertising Overview
The radio schedule we’ve provided is based on a Monday to Friday plan. However, this can be adjusted to suit your business—for example, some prefer Wednesday to Saturday or even Monday to Sunday schedules.
The quoted ads are 30-second commercials, which are the most commonly used (about 80% of advertisers). While 15-second ads are available, they typically cost about 75% of the 30-second rate—so they’re not usually cost-effective.
Your ads will run during “Prime Time” (6am–7pm). If you want to target specific times like Breakfast (6–9am) or Drive (3–7pm) only, the cost may increase by 20–40%.
Rates can change daily or weekly due to demand, seasons, and ratings—like airline pricing. If you're keen to proceed, it’s best to book early. We can usually get you on air within 2–4 days (or 24 hours for urgent jobs). This includes booking, scripting, and production.
We offer discounted ad rates due to our high media buying volume and will negotiate bonus/free ads once your budget is confirmed. (Bonus ads are given at the radio station's discretion.)
The only additional cost is production—writing and creating your ad—which can be up to $500 for a 30-second spot. We currently have a special offer on production, so ask us for details.
We also offer media planning and buying for TV, outdoor, and digital if you're interested in more than radio.
Next Steps:
- Decide on your radio budget
- Choose your preferred “On Air” dates
- Send us info for the ad script (30 second radio ads are approx 80 words):
- Business or event name
- Dates, times, location
- Key offers or messages
- Phone number and/or website
- Any other useful info
